My first test of the newly installed AEM intake
and DC Sports short shifter. Sounds really nice. I forget what
exhaust setup was on it at the time. Probably the more restrictive
one. The short shifter and OEM weighted shift knob was like night and
day to the stock shifter. All in all, these minor upgrades really
improved the fun. To this day, we still don't understand Casey's
fascination with the pretty little tree...and neither does he.
The DC Sports shifter broke on me while in use a
long while after this. It broke off just under the knob while I was
intentionally spinning my tires from 1st thru 3rd in the rain. As I
shifted forward into 3rd, my hand and the knob didn't stop. The DC is
made of aluminum. Now I'm running a B&M stainless steel one. It
has the same bend, and feels exactly the same, but I'm fairly sure this one
won't break.

Thanks to Ustes Baines
for filming this while I drove! And thanks to Casey for pointing out
the "pretty little tree"!
